Litigation

I seek justice for individuals and companies in all types of civil cases.

As a trial lawyer, I have earned the respect of my clients, my peers, judges and juries, and I have done so with hard work, loyalty and integrity.  I cut my teeth trying automobile accident cases, and I briefed/argued several cases in the courts of appeal, including when, as a young lawyer, I defended part of the Texas A&M University Bonfire Collapse case.  For the most of my career, though, I have been handling/trying high exposure lawsuits (on both the plaintiff and the defense side of the bar), including numerous oil and gas and transportation/18-wheeler personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits. Along the way, I have walked hand-in hand with, and I have gone toe-to-toe against, some of the most respected and skilled trial lawyers in the State of Texas.

Over the course of my legal career, I have tried to a jury numerous cases across the State of Texas, both in state and federal court. With the exception of one case that settled four weeks into trial, all of the cases were tried to a verdict. I have experience and success trying automobile, trucking, oilfield and construction personal injury/wrongful death cases, as well as cases involving commercial fraud, consumer fraud and copyright infringement.

Moving forward, I will continue to work on all types of civil cases, including, but not limited to, the following areas:

  • Personal Injury/Catastrophic Injury
  • Wrongful Death
  • Automobile Accidents
  • Oil and Gas Matters
  • Construction Matters
  • Fire and Explosion
  • Premises Liability
  • Commercial and Business Disputes
  • Employment Matters
  • Consumer Protection
  • Breach of Contract
  • Fraud

I am committed to providing the highest quality legal services.  I want my clients to take as much pride in announcing me as their lawyer as I will take in announcing them as my client.
